About

My deepest desire is to create artwork that impacts people’s lives and opens their hearts and minds to new possibilities.

As a child, I grew up drawing and painting (mostly horses!) and developed an appreciation early on for the meditative, reflective practice of creating artwork.

As an adult, my love of the natural world combined with my education in alternative forms of healing have played a significant role in my artwork.  As a practicing Reiki Master, I am very attuned to the subtle energies that surround us. Art can have a powerful impact that shifts the energy of a space, and it is my mission to channel this universal, creative lifeforce energy into my work in order to bring the viewer into a heightened awareness of the present moment.

I graduated from St. Olaf College with a BA in Studio Art and Art History, and studied at Parsons School of Design in New York City for Interior Design. In college, I spend a semester living in Florence, Italy studying art, including classical figure drawing at Charles H. Cecil Atelier where I honed my technical skills, learning from centuries of artistic tradition.

My passion for interior design and the importance of creating beautiful spaces enables me to assist designers who are seeking the perfect statement piece for their client’s homes. I love envisioning how artwork can transform a space, whether it’s a home, office or gallery location.

My work has been exhibited in galleries, both in solo and group shows, as well as juried competitions around the Twin Cities, the greater Minnesota area, as well as Nationally.
